My Honey glazed salmon was fantastic and it was a lot of food. I would definitely order that again. Staff was very nice.

Service and atmosphere were very good, however I will most likely not be returning here do to the fact that my favorite menu item, the "Mac daddy" being completely different than what it used to be. It used to be a premium Mac and cheese experience, breadcrumbs, four cheeses and baked to perfection (pictured below from 2025). However when I ordered the same thing this time....I was served Velveeta Mac and cheese sauce on spiral noodles. (Also pictured below). Nothing but good things from the service however the food quality has taken a dive. So sad!

We used to absolutely love Austin’s in Libertyville. A couple of our friends introduced us to this restaurant a few years ago, and we basically hijacked their spot 😂. Anytime we have friends or family in town, this is one of the first places we bring them. We’ve probably eaten here more than 10/15 times, which is why this most recent experience was so disappointing. My friend and I came in for happy hour, but our waitress seemed very unfamiliar with the menu and restaurant policies. She initially told us that food was not included in happy hour, even though it was. She also did not know how to apply a reward, along with several other things we asked about. We were patient because we understand that people can be new or still learning. To make matters worse, the nachos we ordered were soggy and disappointing. After about an hour and a half, she told us that her shift was ending and asked us to close out our checks. She assured us that another server would come over and continue checking on us. Unfortunately, no one came to our table for another hour and a half. Eventually, a man—who I assume was the server who was supposed to take over our table—came over and loudly told us that

I had the salmon which was very good. My side, red beans and rice, were very bland and mushy. My husband had the Grill Mix. The ribs were very fatty. The chicken was excellent. The steak was over cooked. Asked medium rare and was medium well. I had a margarita that tasted like water. Both my husband and I tasted it. Our server was busy but would just drop and run so we never got a chance to ask for anything we needed. We were very disappointed.

Not a local. Place was recommended by our hotel lobby attendant and we loved it. Food was amazing! My daughter had the Caesar salad wrap (secret item), and I had the mini gyros, which are an appetizer and weren't mini at all. I did order the cappuccino which had zero sweetness to it, but I was embarrassed to ask for sugar 🤣
